Moalboal & Badian Tour

An early start across the island to swim through a million sardines off Panagsama Beach, drift over coral reefs with green sea turtles, then chase Kawasan's blue-water canyon down to the falls.

Itinerary

Stop 0104:00

Pickup - Cebu City

Early start. Bring a light jacket; you'll sleep through most of the drive south.

Panagsama Beach, Moalboal

Boat out to the famous sardine run - a tornado of millions of fish you can swim through just metres from shore. The reef edge here is one of the easiest world-class snorkels anywhere.

Turtle Watching

Drift snorkel along the same reef wall to find green sea turtles feeding on sea grass. We follow at a respectful distance - no touching, no chasing.

Coral Garden

A short transfer to a quieter section of reef - soft corals, anemonefish, and reef sharks if you're lucky.

Lunch & dry off

A beachfront lunch stop in Moalboal before the drive to Badian.

Kawasan Canyoneering, Alegria

Helmets and life vests on. Three to four hours jumping, swimming, and scrambling down a turquoise river canyon all the way to Kawasan Falls. Jumps are optional - every cliff has a walk-around.

Drop-off - Oslob

We finish the day at your Oslob accommodation, ready for an early Day 3 pickup. Cebu City drop-off is also possible - just let us know.

Common questions

FAQ

I can't swim - is this still doable?
Snorkeling parts: yes, you'll wear a vest and stay near the boat. Canyoneering: you must be willing to be in moving water with a vest. If you're nervous, tell us before booking and we'll talk through it.
Can we skip the cliff jumps in canyoneering?
Always. Every jump has a path around it. The guides will never push.
Why such an early pickup?
The drive to Moalboal is roughly three hours. Starting at 4 AM puts us in the water before the day-trip crowds and gives the canyon enough daylight afterward.
What if it rains?
Snorkeling continues unless seas are unsafe. Canyoneering is suspended after heavy rain because of flash-flood risk - if that happens we'll re-route to alternative falls and refund the canyoneering portion.
Are the snorkeling and canyoneering fees included?
Yes - the snorkeling boat package and the Kawasan canyoneering activity fee are both bundled into your quote. Your driver-guide settles them at the gate for the group. Cash on the day is only for lunch, tips, and camera rental.
